I lived in South Africa August 2011 – July 2012.
It’s now mid-December 2011, so it’s a good thing December, January and February are summertime, sweet summertime, here in the southern hemisphere! The weather is getting warmer and warmer, and people are flocking to the beaches. That’s good for my seagull friends, because they get scraps from picnic lunches. I LOVE being outside. It makes me feel so free I could fly.
On top of the famous Table Mountain. Look how far up I am!
At the ends of the earth! We’re at the southern tip of the African continent.
Whale watching in False Bay, South Africa.
We’re 12,541 kilometers from New York – a long way from home.
I didn’t know people who aren’t mountain climbers can climb up Table Mountain! (or did you take a helicopter?)
Chirpy is so cute!! Hmm….wow! It looks beautiful at the tip of South Africa, but it must’ve been cold there.
