First stop…..let’s board the plane and head to Korea! When visiting another country it is always helpful to know a few basic words in order to effectively communicate! Do you know any Korean words? As you can probably guess, not all families eat the same type of food. Food can come from animals, plants, leaves, roots, fruits, and seeds. Everybody likes different things, it doesnt mean that one is better than the other. Every country has it’s own special types of foods and recipes. Bee-bim bop, the name translates as “mix-mix rice”  and is a traditional Korean dish of rice topped, and then mixed, with meat and vegetables. This story depicts a child helping her mother make bee-bim bop: shopping, preparing ingredients, setting the table, and finally sitting down with her family to enjoy a favorite meal.
