This week in library, kindergarten, first grade and second grade students will meet one of the “Mighty Five” public librarians. Together, librarians and students will explore the organization of the library. While exploring, students will become familiar with the location and organization of library books. Students will also understand the importance of books and why having a library card to the public library is important!

All students will bring home a library card application which is a MUST FIND on the Scavenger hunt list! Students can return it to a special box located in the school library. Within a week, a public library card will be sent to the student’s home address.
