Throwback from Ms. Eyer’s Library Critical Thinking Challenges: Sudoku

Not a numbers person? Perfect! This game doesn’t really involve numbers. In fact, the boxes could just as easily be filled with letters of the alphabet, shapes or even pictures! Numbers are only used because they are well-recognized symbols.

Puzzles are a great activity for kids. They exercise the brain, help develop logical reasoning, and provide a sense of achievement!

How to Play Sudoku
In this game, your goal is to fill in the blanks with numbers 1 to 9 such that the numbers will not be repeated in each row, each column, and each 2×2, 3X2 or 3×3 square.
