 The effects of climate change and global warming include higher temperatures and more heat waves, warmer oceans, rising sea levels, changes in plant life cycles, thawing permafrost, less snow and ice, changes in animal migration and life cycles, damaged corals, and changing rain and snow patterns. and sadly the list goes on……

This week we will take advantage of the warm weather and get outside for a Scavenger Hunt! Taking time outside to observe the environment will reineforce the need and provoke more discussion about how students and adults might change their behaviors in order to preserve the environment.
