We can’t believe winter break is just a few short days away! We are having a blast! The club will continue into the New Year. We will contact interested parents with the start up date in early January. Stay Tuned!

We will continue to celebrate our connection to nature and the Earth with a yoga pose and salutation, “Hello Sun! Hello Earth! Hello Rain! Hello Wind! Hello Ocean! Hello Wind! Hello Rain! Hello Earth! Hello Sun! Namaste.”  The kids really seem to have a connection and look forward to leading the poses.

Today, we will discuss an action plan to bring “Earth Kid Club” awareness to the William O. Schaefer school community.  What does it look like? How do we get the message out to all the teachers and students? How can we make WOS waste free and sustainable?

And we MUST finish making our plarn jump rope! Coach Counihan is going to try it out and let us know how we can improve it! Maybe we can make jump ropes for the P.E. Classes!

While discussing our startegies, we will create a Recycled Magazine Tree. Personally, I am hopeful the kids will donate their trees to add to the library winter wonderland theme!
