The Rockland BOCES School Library System is sponsoring the 33nd Annual Rockland Read-In Id TODAY… Friday, February 17, 2017. Anthony Hosmer coordinates the Rockland Read-In event primarily working through the librarians in ALL Rockland County schools. The yearly goal of the Read-In is to get students to read for FUN! Pleasure reading was found to fulfill three broad functions: it enhanced academic performance, social engagement and personal development.
