If I could be friends with someone in the book I would want to be friends with Attean. I would want to be friends with Attean because if I was his friend he would probably teach me hunting skills like how to make a new hook for my fishing rod if a fish took it, he would teach me how to catch a fish with a sharp stick and much more. Another reason I would want to be his friend is because he could tech me how to make a snare and much more. My last reason I would want to be his friend is because he could teach me how to make signals to tell me wear to go if I got lost.

I sort of agree with you Olivia, but I wouldn’t break down in tears because Matt already new that his dad would eventually have to go get his mom and siblings. I would be like you if my dad was going away and didn’t know exactly how much weeks he’ll be gone and if my dad told me like Matt’s dad told him how long he would be gone I would start complaining that he was over exaderating when he said he will be gone for six to seven weeks even with the baby. That is why I would and wouldn’t react the same as Matt.

After reading “Crash” by Jerry Spinelli I learned that one of the life lessons of the story is that everyone changes. I think this because is in the beginning of the book Crash sort of bullied Penn for how he was, but towards the end of the book Crash and Penn started to speak to each others and at the end of the book they were best friends. Another reason I think this is because in the middle of the book when Jane was introduced Crash and Jane didn’t get along for a long time and at the end of the book Jane ended up inviting Crash to her fourth of July party. Finally is because towards the middle of the book when Mike was introduced Crash and Mike were good friends and then towards the end of the book they went from always hanging out and speaking to each other to not interacting with each other at all. As you can see this is one of the life lessons of the story.
