January 2019

Here are a few highlights from January activities in room 407. We finalized our feature articles and began our literary essay unit. Testing soil conditions and trying out physical models of Tar Puls helped us act as geotechnical engineers to determine the best location for construction of this type of bridge in a community in Nepal. The same month that we were exploring the site for constructing a bridge, we witnessed the demolition of part of our own Tappan Zee Bridge. Quizlet Live is a favorite way of preparing for tests. Finally, we earned a Game Day, which helped strengthen our bonds with each other, too.
