LE CARNAVAL DE LANTZ DANCE FOR “WE THE PEOPLE” EVENT

Watch the video and learn how to dance the Carnaval. We will be dancing at We The People on Saturday March 10th 2018!

La galette des rois

on January 6th, we eat a special cake “la galette des rois”. The person who gets the hidden ceramic figure becomes the king or queen of the year!! Click here for  Galette des rois recipe.

French club: today students were busy making cards for sick children at the hospital of Montreal. Such good hearts!!

Why Study French? 

Poisson d’avril!!

We learned that French people prank each other on April 1st by putting pictures of fish on each other’s back. In club, we made pictures of fish and stuck them on our friends’ backs on April 1st! Poisson d’avril!!

December/ January 2015: 6th graders are pondering over “Do cultures see time differently? How would some of those differences be seen when you travel abroad?”, while 7th are reflecting on ” Do my culinary habits reflect my culture?’ and 8th graders are thinking about “What is particular about French food? what does a French meal look like?”
