The Year of the Rat begins on Saturday, January 25th.

As young people it is so important to know about the world around you and develop an understanding of other countries and cultures. You need to prepare for life as global citizens. In addition, familiarity with China and Chinese culture becomes increasingly important for the United States’ prosperity as we compete in global markets. Let’s celebrate today and explore Chinese culture and language.

While the dragon may be the most iconic symbol of the Chinese zodiac, the other 11 are just as important. It is believed they reveal a person’s attributes and tell their fortune.

  • Find your year of birth to see what your Chinese zodiac sign says about you.
  • Explain whether or not you agree with this animal’s influence on your personality and why. Give examples-  Chinese Zodiac.
