On Sat, Nov 4, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, SOMS PTA, SOCASA, and Wellcore will host a FREE training session designed to give parents, caregivers, community members, and other concerned citizens the tools needed to assist a youth experiencing an emotional or mental crisis. Any students interested in helping at the Fall Carnival on Saturday, October 7th, from 10:45 am – 2:00 pm, please E-Mail Mrs. Budway at jessicabudway@gmail.com by September 26th. Volunteers would be running games/activities for the younger students and will receive volunteer hours.
The first meeting of the Art for Publication Club is after school in room 187 on Tuesday, September 26. Only students with signed permission slips will be permitted to attend.
Are you interested in Science? Like to build things? Then Science Olympiad is the place for you. Both a club and a competitive team, it is fun and challenging. Please join us for our first meeting Tuesday, October 10th, Room 186. Permission slips are in Mrs. Nybro’s Room – 175A or 186. We will be meeting on Tuesdays in Room 186 after school. The Red Cross Babysitting Certification course will be held on October 24 and October 25 – 3:15-7:00 pm. If interested, the registration form is available in the Guidance Office. Registration deadline is October 19.
