We've been learning about character traits this week. Think about someone you consider a good friend. Tell us who it is (no last names!) and either:
- two traits that make the person a good friend, with ONE piece of evidence for each trait, OR
- one trait that makes the person a good friend, with TWO pieces of evidence for that trait.
Here is a list of traits to consider.
A person I consider a good friend is Devin. She is very funny, thoughtful, and extremely nice.
She makes me laugh when I am feeling sad. Devin draws pictures for me that I put in my special folder. She is always doing nice things for me.
I have a good friend named Alex that lives on my street. He is friendly and nice because he lets me go first on our Wii games and he lets me play with his toys when i go over his house.
Eden is cheerful because every day she comes in to school and makes me laugh and every day on the swings she tells me a joke and it makes me laugh.
My friend Max is funny.
1. Once in first grade we put on a play in front of our class, and it was called A Chippy Chipmunk Fairy Tale. At recess a few days ago, I brought it up,and he said, “I didn’t know I had a fairy tail, I thought I had a chipmunk tail!”
2. In religion class last year, I asked him what he wanted for Christmas. He said, “A giant steamroller, to roll you flat!”
My friend Kacey is friendly and polite. She is friendly because she always says hi to me in the hallways. She is polite because she always calls my mom Mrs.

I have a good friend named Ryan. He is nice because he always shars his toys with me. He is also fun because he likes to play with me.
My friend is Henry. 1. He makes me laugh because he is a funny person.
1. Today when I said “make a stickman figure for me”, he drew a old man instead.
2. 2 weeks ago, Henry was making a ninja book, then he showed me what was inside. It was a pop-out ninja ready to attack someone. To me, it was hilarious!!
My good friend is Jules he is smart and funny. Jules is smart because he knows how to multiply. He is funny because he sings songs that make me laugh.
Tessa is careful because she takes her time learning stuff. She is also hardworking, and I can prove it because I see her at karate doing her best.
My friend Katie is funny because she does silly things in dance class. Katie is also creative because once she used a card board box to make a tv!
A good friend is Ariana. She is funny and is a hard worker. She is funny because she tells me jokes in the morning at school. She is a hard worker when she draws me pictures. She uses a lot of detail.
Jerrick is my good friend. He is funny and imaginative. He is imaginative because he thinks of really good ways of playing legos when we are together. He is funny because he makes me laugh in different ways.
