Welcome
Dear Students and Families,
Welcome to the TZHS Mental Health web page. We have compiled this site to provide some information about common mental health concerns among high school students. TZHS offers services and resources to support student wellness. We encourage students to reach out to their school counselor, school social worker, or school psychologist if they have any additional questions or concerns regarding their mental health.
Sincerely,
Dr. Katelin Burns, Mrs. Jessenia Cursio, Dr. Bradley Hercman & Mrs. Ponnu John
TZHS Wellness Center
The Wellness Center (located in the library) provides a range of resources to support students and families in meeting day to day challenges, through prevention, intervention and education in a comfortable setting. Students are encouraged to speak with the counseling team around issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, peer relationships, substance use, grief & loss, parent/child communication, sexual orientation & gender identity, among other topics.
Students are permitted to use the Wellness Center with the permission from their assigned teacher as a ‘cool down’ space.
