The Bald Eagle has long been celebrated by humankind for their strength, wisdom, hope, courage, and loyalty.  They have been held in reverence by many religions and cultures as an integral part of their traditions and spirituality. This ability has been believed to create balance in their lives, allowing powerful vision while keeping a strong connection to the earth. Their survival commands them to live life in the moment and adapt to unforeseen circumstances. They fearlessly focus on the continuation of their species and are deeply devoted to their mates and offspring.

The 2019-2020 season is the eighth season Dick Pritchett Real Estate has provided the live look into the Southwest Florida nest. The SouthWest Florida Eagle Cam has been providing 24/7 live video stream of an active pair of bald eagles, Harriet and M15,  in their nest since 2012. Watching the live feed allows you to observe the life of an eagle first-hand. “Eagles are wild birds and anything can happen in the wild. The Southwest Florida Eagle Camera (SWFEC) does not interfere or intervene and allows nature to take its course. You will see life and you might see death, but this is nature at her finest.”

Harriet and M15 work as a well-timed team, taking turns for constant incubation of their two perfect Eggs. Egg 15 (E15) hatched March 31, 2020 @5:29am. Egg 16 (E16) hatch is still in progress! It is very exciting and addictive to watch this Bald Eagle family…M15 adds grasses, moss, and straw to the nest to keep their eggs cushioned and toasty warm.
