- This week is Cohort B (L-Z) learning in building. Reminder for Cohort B: If you are remote learning, please be sure to email your study hall teacher and PE teachers so they can mark you as Present. If you do not email them within the class period, you will be marked Absent.
- Daily COVID-19 Screening Form

- The Daily COVID-19 screening form should be completed in PowerSchool BEFORE your child arrives at school.
- The form must be completed everyday that your child is expected to attend school in person (either week A or week B). If your child will not be coming to school during their expected week, check NO for the first question and email tzhsattendance@socsd.org to excuse their absence or notify us if your child is working remotely.
- If you are having a problem accessing the PowerSchool Portal/Form please be sure to email: portal@socsd.org

- Freshman Class Officers – Any freshman interested in running for Class Officer or Student Government delegate need to fill out a Freshman Class Election form. The form can be found on the Freshman google class page. Code: VSWaq44. Nominations will be open through Friday, October 16. Elections will be the following week.

- Seniors – Cap and Gown orders are due Friday, October 16. Use this link to order; https://forms.gle/J7vJET6tHVJHcCmYA The seniors’ own school email address must be used on the order. Please drop off your $70 check payable to Tappan Zee High School with the senior’s name in the memo to room 411 by 10/16/20. The bank will not accept checks payable to TZHS! There is also a box in Main Office.
- Yearbooks – If you would still like to purchase a copy of last years book, email or see Ms. LaBrake. If you ordered a book, but never picked it up, you can get your book at security at the main entrance

- Art Clubs – Come join one or more of the fantastic, fun art clubs. Check out the chalkboard display in the 700’s hallway for Clubs and google classroom codes!

- Counseling Dept – Dr. Burns and Dr. Hercman will be facilitating an ongoing weekly group every Day 6, Period 4 (began Tuesday, October 13). Come to listen, talk, and learn strategies to manage stress: Stress Management Group. Please email Dr. Burns (kburns@socsd.org) or Dr. Hercman (bhercman@socsd.org) if you are interested in joining and we will share updates, the location and zoom links with you. If want to join, but have class that period, please send us an email for alternative options.
- Chromebook Issues – If you are having issues with your Chromebook, you must put in a service support ticket via the BOCES Student Help Desk. The link to access the page: https://lhric.service-now.com/student
- Advanced Placement Courses (AP) – AP Exam registration/Payment October 30 – November 10, 2020. AP Exam Registration ends November 10, 2020. AP Exam LATE Registration is March 5-10, 2021.

- NOTE: Underclassmen can log into the website lorsstudio.com, click undergrad prepay and code 21-24TZ. Seniors should have recieved their paperwork in the mail with their username and password, ** if their paperwork was not received check google classroom to see where you can pick up your information when in school.
- Underclassmen will go with their social studies teachers, seniors schedule their own portraits.
- Rescheduled dates are now October 19th, and 23rd for those who should have gone on the earlier cancelled dates (September 24-25)
