Youth United Way Club Meeting: Wednesday, 1/31 after school in Room 806.
Ping Pong Club Meeting: Wednesday, 1/31 after school in the 100’s hallway.
Computer Science Club Meeting: Wednesday, 1/31 after school in Room 308.
Leo Club Meeting: Thursday, 2/1 after school in Room C-3.
Science Olympiad Competition: Thursday, 2/1 from 6 – 8 pm. If you can’t attend, please see
Ms. Connington.
Cooking Club: Members should sign up in Mrs. Rosenthal’s room for Tuesday 2/6 dessert lesson. There are limited spots for this meeting.
Robotics Club: Meeting every day this week after school in the library.
Foreign Language Journal: Attention Artists! Submissions for the mural and World Language Journal Cover Contest are due by February 2nd. See Ms. Arietta for more details.
8th Grade Orientation – Peer Leaders: There will be a meeting for Peer Leaders who volunteered for 8th Grade Orientation in the Principal’s Conference Room on Tuesday, January 30th, Period 7. Please see Ms. Settineri in Room 703 to get your pass.
Register My Athlete is open from January 29th through February 26th when it will shut down. If you are planning on playing a Spring Sport, please be sure to register before February 26th. Once closed it will NOT be reopened and you will then not be able to go out for a spring sport.
Crazee Shirts are on sale in the nurse’s office. The cost is $10. Be sure to get them while they last.
Do you write poetry or fiction? Did you write a great college essay? Do you plan to apply to English Honor Society in the fall? If you answered yes to any of the above, submit your work to TZ’s award-winning literary magazine, Tones! Submissions deadline extended until Monday, February 5. Email your work to Ms. McMane.
