AP Exam Information

Payment/registration opens Wednesday, October 23 for the 2025 Advanced Placement (AP) exams via MySchoolBucks, the school district’s online payment system.

The deadline to pay/register is Thursday, November 14. Families are urged to pay/register as early as possible and not wait until the final weekend.

  • The registration fee is $99 per exam.
  • A reduced registration fee of $63 per exam is available for students enrolled in the free/reduced-price school meal program. Visit the District’s Food Service webpage for enrollment information; families may apply any time during the school year. In past years, the New York State Education Department has issued an additional fee reduction for students enrolled in the free and reduced-price lunch program. However, this fee reduction is not guaranteed and is issued as a partial refund after the exam period has ended.

The following process has changed. In order to receive an invoice and pay for the exam, please follow the instructions below:

  • Log into MySchoolBucks before Wednesday, October 30 and click on the AP Store to pre-register for AP Exams (see screenshot above). Ā 
  • Select the exam(s) that your child is taking and assign your child to the exam.
  • Click “Buy Exam $0.00” and check out. You will not pay anything when pre-registering for exams.
  • All AP students and their parents will receive invoices via email only if they have pre-registered for the exam by November 1. Simply open the email and click “pay now.”
  • The College Board does not accept direct payment; families must pay/register via MySchoolBucks. The invoice will also be accessible by logging into students’ MySchoolBucks accounts with their student identification number, which can be found in PowerSchool.
