Cycle Day 4

Attention all students:  If the temperature is between 21 and 45 degrees you MUST have a minimum of either a sweatshirt or fleece jacket to go outside for recess.  If the temperature drops below 21 degrees, there will be no outdoor recess.  Please remember to bring your jacket to recess if you want to go outside during recess!

We will be having a locker cleanout on Thursday, December 22 during homeroom.  The Custodians will be leaving bags in the hallways for the students to throw out unwanted items from their lockers.  Homeroom teachers and all teachers on Hall Duty during homeroom, please encourage the students to take home any extra clothing and clean out their lockers before the break.  Library books may be brought up to the library to be returned.

Woodworking club will be held on December 21st

The Creative Writing Club will meet after school in room 331 after school on Wednesday, December 21st.  New members are always welcome!  Please see Mrs. Fagan if you have any questions.

¡Felices fiestas! The next meeting of the Spanish Club will take place Wednesday, December 21st after school in Room 234. We will be discussing holiday traditions throughout the Spanish-speaking world and begin the planning process for our Spring luncheon. We also will be sampling some Mexican candy (did you know Takis make a sweet and spicy treat in lollipop form?) New members are always welcome in Spanish Club—please visit or email Doctora Solomon if you have any questions!

This Friday is Pajama Day- another chance to help some local children and have some fun. NJHS members will be collecting donations on Friday with all proceeds again going to the Penguin Plunge.

A reminder that the 6th grade E2 cycle will end Friday, December 23rd and the new 6th grade E3 cycle will begin January 2nd.  The new 6th grade E3 lists will be hanging outside of Mr. Goldstein’s Room and Mr. Freeley’s Room.

The 7th grade E2 study hall and Music Explore will also be ending on Friday December 23rd.  The new 7th grade E3 study hall and Music Explore will also begin on January 2nd.  The new lists will be hanging outside the library.

The next yearbook meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 18.
