Air and Weather

Students use basic weather tools to gather information about temperature, wind, and clouds.

Students observe movement of objects in the air, including clouds and objects affected by moving air.

Life Cycles (via Mealworms and Plants)

Students observe structures and behaviors in the life cycles of a mealworm and a flowering plant.  They discuss, describe, and record findings and changes and pose questions as these living things grow and develop.

Sound and Vibration

Students experiment and learn that sound is produced when an object vibrates.  They will explore different ways that vibrations can be seen or felt.
