Mrs. Nerkizian came into our class to share a lesson about Growth Mindset today. She read a book called ” A Walk in the Rain with a Brain” by Edward Hallowell, M.D.. We learned that we are all capable of being Smart! The harder you work the more your brain will grow. It’s okay to make mistakes because we can learn from them.
The children were asked the following questions:
What does smart mean?
Who do you know that is smart? How do you know?
Are you smart?
What do you do when something is hard for you.
Ask you child what they learned about today?
