Hi Readers!

In reading we have been learning strategies to help us figure out the meaning of key words in our nonfiction books.  I know you are always asking me for tricky words in FUNdations, so I thought I’d give you a tricky word to figure out the meaning of.  The word is DEMOLISHED.  Can you figure out the meaning of this word using the sentence below:

The bulldozer demolished the building and now building is no longer there.

  1. Demolished means to destroy. I know this because my dad told me. The bulldozer destroyed the building and the building is no longer there.
