Today we will begin experimenting with the app called Stop Motion Studio. You can download it (for free) here.
Step 1: Come up with an idea for your story. Keep it simple!
Step 2: Make a plan! Create a storyboard.
-Decide what will happen.
-What will the background look like?
-What materials or props do you need?
Step 3: Take a few shots at the beginning (and end) of your animation. Remember to make SMALL movements at one time! Use your onion skin to see where you left off.
Step 4: You will need at least 8-12 photos to equal 1 second. Slowly, continue working on your video.
Step 5: Share your work so others can see it!
Let’s start with a simple animation. Click on the image to download a copy of the monster parts at home. Cut out the parts that you will need to animate a face.
