The class has officially completed their first week of second grade.

We have all made some new friends and saw some old friends. Routines have been introduced in the classroom and are underway.  Slowly new parts of the classroom will be introduced as well as new building routines for all of us to get to know and follow. We have read some books and done some activities to get to know each other and ourselves a little better. The students enjoyed exploring with math manipulatives and creating numbers sentences with them. We reviewed some Fundation sounds and rules that they were excited to share their knowledge of. It was a busy, (hot) week.

Room 66 is off to a GREAT start!
