Respect

pinduli02April is blue for respect. Cottage Lane’s book of the month, Pinduli, is a surprising story about self-image, self-acceptance, and treating others with respect. After reading, sharing and discussing this special book you will realize how a few tiny words – bad or good – can create something enormous!

Do you think that by hurting someone else’s feelings it made the animals who made Pinduli feel bad, feel better about themselves?

  1. Thank you Ms. Moore for reading this book to us. As all of us predicted, it would be interesting. I totally take back what I said that Mr. Peabody’s Apples are better. And Pinduli isn’t interesting… It’s AWESOME!!! ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

  2. Pinduli was really amazing, especially when Mrs. Mohr read it to us!!!!!! I loved the book. It was outstanding!!!!! And I was going to watch the video, but my computer’s sound isn’t working right, cause it comes out all squeaky, and you can hardly even hear anything. But, I usually like it when someone actually reads it to me. Also, the theme was really standing out. It wasn’t such a tricky theme to figure out. Thanks to our wonderful subs, we finally got to actually read this book!!!!!

  3. It is very rude to make fun of someone just because there different. But it was smart to trick the other animals that she was a ghost.
