Modified sports at South Orangetown Middle School will begin on Monday, November 28th after school. You must be cleared by the Nurse’s Office to participate. Online registration is open! Don’t wait until it is too late!

If you are interested in playing a winter sport at TZHS, make sure to register online now! If you register after Wednesday, November 9th, you may not be cleared in time for the first day of tryouts. There is no school on Friday and the Nurse’s Office will not be here over the weekend. Do not leave it to chance and make sure you are registered!
All middle school students who wish to go through the APP (Advanced Placement Process) to play at the high school level must be registered for the APP, have your parent/guardian send Mr. Pilla an interest email by 11/4 accompanied by a coach recommendation. The APP is a state requirement!
APP physical fitness testing will be right after school on 11/9 in the SOMS gym for the middle school students who have signed up, there will not be any exceptions on that day!

Middle School winter sports registration opens on 10/28

Great job by our TZ Boys Varsity Soccer Team for raising money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation! Not only do the boys do a great job on the field, (they are currently ranked #8 in NYS) they have truly learned how to come together as a team to give back off the field! We are proud of Coach Jacobs and the team!!!
