The TZHS Maker Space has expanded this year having moved from its original location in the Library Media Space to Room 317, which was redesigned this past fall. Teacher Karen Connell is working closely with students and staff to bring the vision for the new Maker Space to fruition, including developing projects such as: automata, wearable technology, 3D printing with calculus, human anatomy study with zSpace, Unity programming of virtual experiences, and more. Director of Technology George Brady is collaborating with Mrs. Connell and computer science students to launch a Maker Space-based tech team to assist peers and teachers with solving software and hardware issues or learning a new app!
