Here are a few shots of us hard at work while exploring to determine how different ground covers handle water. You’ll also see shots of us taking core samples of our ground covers and experimenting to determine the best depth of our piers for our “skyscrapers” to ensure stability.

Bridges of Manhattan 2017
Each class will make a slide show of the bridges we may see on our Circle Line Cruise field trip. Each student is responsible for making a slide on his/her assigned bridge. You will need an image of your assigned bridge and will need to provide the required information on your bridge. You have been assigned a slide number. You should only work on your slide. Let’s see if your class can work together to create a quality, informative presentation.

September Is All about Courage
September’s Superpower is courage!

- Courage means sacrificing your needs for the needs of another.
- Courage means taking a risk and facing your fears.
- It takes courage to admit you have made a mistake.
- It takes courage to stand up for someone who is being teased.

September 11 is Patriot Day. Patriot Day is to remember those who were injured or died during the terrorist attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001. September 11th reminds us of all those who displayed great acts of courage that day. We must remember that ordinary citizens have the power to be extraordinary.
