Celebrating differences is just one important way of being kind and compassionate toward one another!  We are going to read Matthew Cherry’s book Hair Love together! Then we can watch the Award Winning Animated Short!

This book is such a beautiful book by Matthew Cherry, who is a former NFL wide receiver.  He truly set his eyes on a dream back in 2012 saying that he would be nominated for an Oscar one day, and then four years later Matthew Cherry put out a search for an animator for an Oscar winning idea!  What a strong example of persistence and determination, @MatthewACherry! Thank you for showing how its done!
