Broken Squares


A single brain can’t bounce different ideas off of each other. Each team member has a responsibility to contribute equally and offer their unique perspective on a problem to arrive at the best possible solution. This activity emphazises the value of effective team communication.
Each group will receive an envelope, which contains pieces of cardboard for forming squares. The task ofΒ  each group is to form six squares of equal size. The task will not be complete until each group has a perfect square of the same size.

Rules:
β€’ No talking, pointing, or any other kind of communicating among the people in your group.
β€’ You may give pieces to other individuals or groups but may not take pieces from other members.
β€’ Individuals may not simply throw their pieces into the center for others to take; they have to give the pieces directly to one individual.
β€’ It is permissible for a member to give away all the pieces to his puzzle, even if he has already formed a square.

When finished, your group should applaud!
