The SOMS Debate Club will be hosting the Spring BOGO Scholastic Book Fair all week in the SOMS Library! Everything will be buy one get one free!
Attention 8th graders! If you would like to run for Class officer or to be a Delegate for Student Organization for TZHS you need to complete an Election Petition to get on the ballot. Please see Mrs. Kukla in Room 323 to pick up a petition. The petitions are due May 26.
Art Club and Art for Public Spaces Club will have their combined end-of-the-year party on Tuesday, May 30th! All members who plan to attend must notify Mrs. Meyers or Ms. DiPierno in advance. There will be a sign-up sheet posted outside of the art room doors. Hope you can come!
Are you interested in recycling? SOMS is looking to hear from students about how we can increase our recycling efforts. We will be meeting after-school on Wednesday, May 31 in room 173. Topics to be discussed include how to create posters or signs about recycling and composting in the cafeteria next year.

There will be a girls soccer meeting for those interested in trying out at the HS in the fall Today the 25th @ 3:30 by the turf. summer information and tryouts will be discussed. Any questions please see coach Rastelli.
If you played on the Modified Tennis team this spring, please be sure to return the tennis shirt to Mr. Goldstein in room 186 this week.
All 8th grade boys and girls that played on the SOMS basketball team need to come see Mr. Rastelli for a moment when they have a chance.
