A password is a secret word or phrase that must be used to gain admission to something. We have passwords to keep information protected and safe. When you play a game, you may need to enter your password to remember your score or information. When you are older, you may use a password to keep track of your money, check your email, or shop online. Creating a powerful password will help prevent other people from pretending to be you and help to keep your private information secure (safe).
