We did it!  This morning was both our opening and closing day as performers and teachers to all of William O. Schaefer.  There were 2 performances so that the whole school could come and listen and learn about diversity and tolerance.  We started by performing our reinactment of The Land of Many Colors.  You can watch us here:


Then we sang the Uncle Brothers song "When We're Hungry We Eat" (see music and lyrics in the previous post). After that, we did the tolerance rap (video also posted below). Daniel and Jayden got LOTS of rave reviews for their very enthusiastic participation!

Finally, Ms. Carr and Mrs. Polansky chose Whoever You Are by Mem Fox (one of the books we read!) to share with the school.

What an outstanding bunch of teachers and performers! We got so many compliments from kids and teachers throughout the school!
