  1. I think Ganwar is a bad influence on Kek.I think this because Ganwar is telling Kek that his family is dead.Ganwar also insults Gal,the cow Kek named, which hurts Kek’s feelings. While Kek trys to stay positive about his transition to Minnesota,Ganwar explains to him that they will never belong.

  2. I state the position that Ganwar is a good influence on Kek. My first reason for this is when Ganwar says the kids will eat Kek alive. I think this because Ganwar sees that Kek can not go to school in pajamas and wants to look out for him. He also did not just say that the kids will eat him alive and then leave it at that instead, Ganwar said something after that to try and make Kek understand what he meant. That is why I think that Ganwar is a good influence on Kek.

  3. I think Ganwar is a good influence on Kek because he’s helping Kek through his difficult times lately. He’s telling him to move on and face that his mom is dead.

  4. In my opinion I think that Ganwar is a bad influence on Kek because Ganwar isn’t accepting Kek he isn’t showing him where to go and Kek is new here to America so he doesn’t know where stuff is. Also Ganwar is saying that all his family is dead but Keke still has hope in his mother. What Ganwar is saying is making him really upset and not making him feel welcome in America.

  5. I state that Ganuar is a bad influence on Kek. My first example is that he doesn’t answer to Kek or tell him what he needs what he needs to know for his new life in Minnesota or even the answers that he asks for. My second example is when Ganuar storms into the house with a smokey smell and Kek finds him smoking. I think that this action is a horrible influence on Kek and many others. As we continued to read I thought that Ganuar set a bad example for Kek because it might teach him to smoke.
