Last week we started 2 by 2 digit multiplication which is a brand new concept for 4th graders! Even though we found it difficult the first day, we still had fun with it.
Let’s reflect on our learning after 2 days of practice. How did you feel when we first started this concept? How do you feel after practicing? Please share!
When we first started 2 by 2 multiplication I was totally confused and didn’t know how to do it. But now I am getting used to it and getting 3 by 2 problems right. Every day I get better and better and it gets a lot more fun each day!
When we started 2 by 2 multiplication I thought I could not do it but with some practice I learned it faster than I thought. I love 2 by 2 multiplication now!!!!!!!!!
I think that’s great Michael! When we started 2 by 2 multiplication, I didn’t know how hard it would be. At first I was so confused and i couldn’t get past the first step. But now I can do a 2 by 2 problem like it is just a 2 by 1 problem!
When we first started 2 by 2 multiliplication I was so confused so I stayed at the rug for all the lessons. Then when I went back to my seat I only screamed ”STUCK” once! Later on when we did the bonus I got it right, now it feels like I could of learned 2 by 2 multiplication last year!Also I can’t wait to try 3 by 2 multiplication!!!
Wow Brooke you worked really hard! When I started 2 by 2 multiplication it was a little confusing. We had to multply and add that was confusing. But now I’m getting it. It is now easier. I’m getting 3 by 2 multiplication now.

When I frist stared 2 by 2 Multiplication it was realy hard.Every day I got better at it. Now we are learning about 3 by 2 multiplication. I think I like it more.

I think 98 x 72 = 7,056. And for the bonus the name for the answer of a multiplication question is product. Now that we are really good at 2 by 2 multiplication that question is kind of easy.
