gardenofgratitudeToday we kicked off the month with our Character Education Assembly.  We are wild about bears and being grateful!

We shared our book of the month, Bear Says Thanks and Father Haggerty from St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church thanked the student body for being one of the recipient of the Cottage Food Drive. In addition, a few teachers and parents expressed their gratitude by  dedicating a plant to a person who has helped them grow.  Students were asked to do the same and write that person down on a petal of a class flower.  We are looking forward to watching our Garden of Gratitude grow.  Finally, students were given a four week gratitude challenge.  For additional information, please visit our Gratitude Assembly webpage.

Studies show that when you express your gratitude you will feel happier! We are “BEAR”-y excited about showing gratitude this month.
