Today we honored September 11th, or Patriot Day, with a moment of silence in the morning and the ringing of our bell in the front lobby. Later in the morning we had an assembly for each grade. So many of our students wore red- our color of the month to represent courage. We shared a song and talked about how we can all be courageous in our own lives. We also shared the story of The Man with the Red Bandanna and talked about how his courage can inspire each of us. To close, Mrs. King shared some inspirational words to help us be more courageous this month and all year. You can learn more about our assembly here.
