Word Work Menu
Use your word bank to complete one of the following assignments:
- Choose 5 words and write the definitions.
- Choose 5 words and write a complete sentence for each word.
- Choose 10 words and write them in ABC order.
- Write 5 extra words that fit the pattern and are not already in the word bank.
- Choose 10 words and mark up the words.
- Choose 5 words and draw a picture to represent each word. Write the word underneath the picture.
- Choose 5 words and write their parts of speech. Eg. Fox-noun, blend-verb, crab-noun, switch-verb
- Word sort-sort the words by:
- Parts of speech
- Vowel sounds
- Syllables
- Your own way!
