Below is a read aloud of Marcia Brown’s Stone Soup.

As a class we agreed to write and preform our own version of Stone Soup. Students volunteered for parts and quickly brought the text alive by using voice, facial expressions, and some gestures. Our common goal is to read the script aloud effectively, enabling the audience to visualize the action with minimal props, sets and costumes.
