Ruby Bridges was the first black girl to go to white school. She was born in Tylertown, Missisppi 1954 September 8th. Ruby grew up in New Orleans. Rubys family members are her mom, dad,sister and a brother named Milton. In Rubys early life of school was not so good, but she was really brave even though white people tried to hurt her.

My Inspiration For Ruby Bridges
I chose Ruby Bridges because I thought she was a really great person. After hearing her story, I thought she was a really brave girl to be the first black student at an white school. She was also very nice. Ruby inspires me because I think she was a very brave girl to go to Willi,am Frantz public school. Everybody was bullying her. Even parents were. But she was proud that she was doing that and she stood up for herself anyway.She had hard time and went through them anyway!

Ruby Bridges is brave. She is brave because she kept going through tuff moments issues, but she was very brave to act like they were not there. It was hard because they were yelling mean words. Also she worked very hard in a lonely classroom and did not worry about what was going to happen when she walked out of school to go home. She had some hard times in her class learning but she never gave up.
