Blog Challenge #3

Great job rising to the challenge last night!  This time it will take 14 different responses to earn a letter, but you have the whole weekend to do it!

Read your classmates' responses to Blog Challenges #1 and #2.  Do you have a personal connection to any of them?  Write about it!

Blog Challenge #2

Hi kids!  We came close to our goal of 12 responses yesterday.  Let's try to meet that goal tonight!

We're still thinking about memories.  Think about the story we read today from Looking Back.  Lois Lowry's son taught his little daughter to say "butterfly" in German.  Have you ever taught someone how to do something?  Maybe you helped a little brother or sister learn to read.  Maybe you helped your parents figure out how the TV remote control works!

Tell about a time you helped someone.  How did it make you feel?

Blog Challenge #1

Hey kids!  This is your first Blog Challenge.  If at least 12 different students reply to this post, I'll give you the next letter in SPORTS DAY!

We've been reading and talking about memories.  Today you shared some great family memories on your Story Quilts.  When you go home, talk with your families about the stories you remember.  Share another family story that wasn't on your quilt.  How does this story make you feel?
