Saint Joan of Arc
Joan of arc miniature graded.jpg

Joan of Arc was born January 6, 1424 in Donremy, France

At the age of 14 she had visions of god and three angels to fight for the King of Heaven and France.

At age 17 she cut off her hair and joined the army. She defended Reims in the last chance victory and won the battle of Orleans which she was known as the Maid of Orleans.

When she turned 18 she was captured and England asked for ransom from France but they refused. This is when  her trial began and she was held in the Rouen Castle.

In 1431 after being trailed for dressing like a man, Joan of Arc was burned at the stake at the age of 19.

In 1441 ten years later her name was cleared and her memory lives on.

The Mid 1900’s Joan of Arc became as Saint (Saint Joan of Arc).
