Welcome New Students!

I’m so excited to start the new school year with you!

Introduce yourself.  Tell us about the things you like to do for fun.  What have you done this summer?  What do you like about school?  What are you looking forward to?

I have been taking classes to learn cool new stuff to teach you.  I made the math games you can see in the posts below this one.  Has anyone ever used Scratch before?  When my class is over, I’m going to take some time to read and play the piano before I start setting up the classroom.

    My name is Isabella K. I like to draw / write in my week end news and in my writers journal. I also like to ride my bike,play with friends and cousins,go on vacations,playing with my cat snowball,playing games on my ipad, singing, dancing, playing arcades and watching tv.
    Over the summer I went to camp, Museum of Natural History, bowling, Bronx Zoo, the New Jersey Shore, The Statue of Liberty and I did the ALS ice bucket challenge, while donating money also.
    I`m looking forward to meeting you, some new Friends and Learning new things in third grade.
    See you in September.

  3. Hello Ms. Williams,

    My name is Alex C. and what I like to do for fun is to swim, walk my dogs Summer, Lola, and Milo, ride my bike and scooter, and go camping with my parents. This summer I went to swim camp at West Point Army Swimming, I also joined the Rockland County Swim League and swam with Palisades Stingray. I came in third place for the entire county for 8 years old and under. I also went camping in Bar Harbor Maine and went hiking, stand up paddle boarding, biking, and kayaking. I also joined a boxing/kickboxing class with my mom and we have so much fun.

    I am looking forward to 3rd grade and meeting you. I am sure it is going to be a great school year. See you soon! P.S. your cat Sophie is very cute…I love animals!

    My name is Sofia P and I am very excited to be in the third grade. This summer I visited Colombia, Action Park, Coney Island, Great Adventure, and Hershey Park. My brother left for college at Lehigh University. I miss him. I like cheerleading, being on the gymnastics team, and swimming in my pool with my friends. The best part about school is recess and reading. I am looking forward to learning times tables and meeting new friends. I’m ready to learn about everything this year.

  22. hi I like sailing playing with my DOLLS a lot .Also like watching movies with my family and friends.And most of all pets are my favorite . And I like spending time with my family. Oh yeah and did I tell you I LOVE LOVE stuffed animals and dogs and Hershey park. Love GIANNA…………
