What’s Your State?

No, I don't mean New York!  We've been learning about states of matter!  What have you learned about solids, liquids, and gases?

Blog Challenge:  Name one thing in your house that is a solid, one that's a liquid, and one that's a gas.  Try not to name anything anyone else already mentioned.  BONUS: Name one thing in your house that is a semisolid, with some properties of a solid and some properties of a liquid.

  1. Be careful about smoke!  Smoke is actually a mixture of gases and tiny pieces of solids and liquids.  

  2. Shampoo is a liquid.  Air is a gas.  My table is a solid.  Bonus, I am a mix of solid and a liquid

  3. glass is a solid, steam for a gas, and a liquid is coffee . Bounus, a steam iron is a mix of  solid and a liquid.
