Monday Mania!

We had a great day!  We started new units in math, reading, and writing.  In math, we'll be studying addition.  We'll be reading fiction and investigating story elements.

My favorite new thing is writing!  We'll be studying personal narrative, stories all about you!  Did you realize we already started personal narrative by sharing life stories on the blog?  Tonight's blog challenge is another personal narrative.

Blog Challenge:  Tell about a time you learned how to do something new.  What was it?  Who helped you?  How did you feel?

  1. I learned how to tie my shoes when my cousin Jillian taught me.  It made me feel proud.

  2.  When I was 5 I learned how to ride a bike .  My mom helped me a little but I did most of it. I was happy .

  3. My Dad taught me how to stack numbers in math. It is easier than counting on your fingers. I  felt good about learning something new.

  4. When I was having a hard time trying to use a two-wheeled scooter properly, my friend Alexa (the one I kicked off the bed) helped me by giving me lessons, and in a few days I was able to go at all different speeds. I thanked Alexa so many times and then she was like, " Okay, you can stop now." I just felt so GREAT!!!!!!!!
