The South Orangetown Central School District provides a late bus service Monday through Thursday only for students participating in after-school activities. Please be advised that:

1. Late buses do not follow a normal school route.
2. Students should let the driver know their normal bus stop for reference.
3. Late buses drop students off at main intersections, so students’ walk-to-home distances are often longer compared to their regular afternoon bus route.
4. Drop-offs vary depending on the number of students using the late bus service on a given day and where those students reside.
5. Students eligible for regular busing are eligible for the late bus. Those not eligible for regular busing are not eligible for the late bus.
6. There is no high school late bus service on Fridays.

All late bus transportation departs from Tappan Zee High School at 4:15pm:

• Van (served by Peter Brega, Inc.): 1) Sparkill/Piermont/Grandview/Clausland Mountain bus stops
• One large bus (served by Student Bus Company): Blauvelt/Orangeburg/Tappan/Palisades
