Information For Prospective Donors

Students are responsible for honoring deadlines established by each scholarship. If supplemental materials are required to complete a scholarship application (i.e. transcripts, letters of recommendation), this form​ must be submitted at least five (5) school days before the scholarship deadline to allow for processing. If scholarship materials are to be mailed, an addressed envelope (including postage) must be provided by the student at least five (5) school days before the deadline.

New York State Excelsior Scholarships
This scholarship provides free tuition for all SUNY and CUNY schools, including Rockland Community College and other community colleges, for New York State residents. Full details, including rules and restrictions, are available on the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation website. Please note that this application is not often available until after graduation.

Scholarship Safety Information
Our Counseling Department carefully vets local scholarships for which information is shared (below) each spring. However, students and parents also look for scholarships on their own. Federal Student Aid has a useful resource to help families assess whether “scholarship opportunities” they find online are legitimate.

College Board Online helps students and parents make the transition from school to college. Includes College Board tests, programs, and online registration, a “Test Question of the Day,” a searchable database of colleges and financial aid information, including a financial aid calculator.
