Tappan Zee High School’s Science Olympiad team placed in the top 10 of five categories at the Lower Hudson Valley Science Olympiad Regional Competition at Byram Hills High School!
This year’s team is comprised of mostly freshmen and juniors who began competing in Science Olympiad as middle schoolers. “Our team members have worked hard to acclimate to high school-level Science Olympiad standards. They’re already planning for next year and for how they can improve their work,” noted science teacher Kaitlynn Connington, who co-advises the team with science teacher Brian Adler.
