Attention All Students: If the temperature is between 21 and 45 degrees you MUST have a minimum of either a sweatshirt or fleece jacket to go outside for recess. If the temperature drops below 2 degrees, there will be no outdoor recess. Please remember to bring your jacket to recess if you want to go outside.
SOMS is looking for a talented 6th or 7th grade student to design the cover of next year’s Agenda Book! The theme for this year is our “4 C’s” of communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity. Submissions (on an 8 ½ by 11 piece of paper) are due to the main office by Friday, December 9th.
We will be having our first locker cleanout of the year Today, Tuesday, Nov. 22, before homeroom. Please take home clothing to be washed, return any library books that are due and clean out your lockers before Thanksgiving Recess.
The NJHS is working with the Legacy X Foodbank to collect food for those in need. There will be a box in the main lobby, and we are asking you to bring in canned/boxed goods to help local families. We will be running the food drive through December 22nd and a full wish list of food will be posted outside Mrs. Fagan’s and Ms. Condon’s classrooms, as well as on the collection box. Thank you for your generosity!

This year’s first Principal’s Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 30 at 3:00 PM in the Principal’s Office. Students attending may take the late bus home.
French club will meet after school today, Tues. Nov. 22 (NOT Wednesday), to continue celebrating French National Week.
