In our Geometry Unit we have been learning about 2-Dimensional Shapes. Using pattern blocks we learn to fill the same shape with More and fewer?

This week we have been learning the characteristics of triangles and quadrilaterals.  Mathematicians have a special word for corners or points of a shape.  They are called vertices. 

Triangles have 3 vertices.
Quadrilaterals have 4 vertices..
